Sun Sponge-Metal Wall Art

This mesmerising piece , The Sun Sponge is inspired by the ⁣sea sponges and Mid-Century Modern design. We wanted to create a smaller piece of wall art for coastal homes that is timeless and unique. The piece is hand-made out of wire that is then twisted into shape and crushed flat to create a 3d steel branch effect. Every small branch is welded together individually, hand bent and flattened with an old railway track flattener.
